Cleaning Methods
We use two distinct methods depending on the material and condition of the paving.
Pressure Washing
This involves using high-flow petrol machines paired with rotary flat-surface cleaners. The water is forced at high pressure to dislodge and wash away dirt mechanically. This technique requires resilient surfaces that can withstand the force of the water.
Softwashing
A low-pressure, chemical-assisted cleaning method. We apply biocides that break down the organic matter chemically, allowing the residue to be rinsed away gently with low water pressure.
Our Process
Site Preparation
We clear the area of pots and furniture, then cover and protect any nearby plants or drains.
Cleaning Phase
The agreed cleaning method is carried out across the entire surface area.
Rinsing
The patio is washed down with water to remove any remaining debris or residue. Nearby walls and windows are rinsed if any splashing occurred.
Finishing Touches
If required, kiln-dried sand is swept into joints once the surface is dry, and any optional sealants are applied.
Restricted Rear Access?
For terraced houses or properties where the patio is only accessible through the home, we can still complete the work.
